Intern Day: young people driving the future of energy

Every career begins with learning. In August, we celebrate Intern Day, a date that recognizes the future professionals who will contribute to the development of the electric power sector. At EDF Power Solutions, we believe in the potential that this training stage represents for the professional development of our young talents.

That’s why we promote the “Interns and Young Apprentices Meetup” initiative, which brings together those who are just starting their careers in periodic gatherings to encourage the exchange of experiences and strengthen integration. These meetings also feature the special participation of our internal experts, who share their professional journeys and address topics related to personal and professional development, such as self-knowledge and communication, in addition to immersion in the company’s business model and key topics in the sector.

“Being part of the Investments and M&A team at EDF Power Solutions has been an important opportunity to get a close look at the complexity and challenges of the Brazilian electric power sector. Following the routines and processes of a large company, in a strategic area, has helped me understand market dynamics and navigate the transition from academic life to the corporate environment,” shares Carolina Martins, M&A Intern.

EDF Power Solutions remains committed to offering real learning experiences that prepare our interns for the challenges of the job market and, already, help build the future of the company and the electric power sector.
