EDF power solutions sponsored yet another edition of the National Meeting of Electric Sector Agents (ENASE), an event held in Rio de Janeiro that brought together experts, authorities, and industry leaders to discuss the challenges and opportunities related to modernization, digitalization, sustainability, and the full opening of the energy market by 2027.

Representatives from our Trading, Regulatory, Communications, and Engineering teams attended the event and took part in panels on strategic topics for the electric sector, such as curtailment, the review of regulatory models, price signals, energy storage, and system expansion planning. The event was also a valuable opportunity for exchanging experiences and strengthening relationships with energy market agents.

In addition, EDF power solutions’ Director of Asset Optimization, Luísa Moreira, was one of the speakers on the panel “Planning and the Reality of Operations in the Electric System,” where participants discussed how different agents can work in an increasingly integrated way to overcome operational challenges, improve system predictability, and ensure greater efficiency in its management.
