Meet UHE Dardanelos: EDF power solutions’ new asset

EDF power solutions’ portfolio has grown!

In a strategic move that reaffirms our commitment to the energy transition, the company now holds 75% of the Dardanelos Hydroelectric Power Plant (UHE), located in Mato Grosso. The remaining 25% continues to be held by Neoenergia.

This significant milestone not only consolidates EDF power solutions’ operations in Brazil but also positions us as an even more relevant player in the national energy landscape. With this new asset, the company now boasts 2.1 GW of installed capacity, spread across six energy generation assets in four states.

EDF power solutions will be responsible for supporting the plant’s activities, as well as managing O&M services through EDF Serviços.
