The EDF Group, one of the main global players in the energy transition, has developed “Ambitions 2035”, whose main objective is to lead the new electric revolution, to offer decarbonized, available and competitive energy to its customers, in France and in all the locations where it operates. Thus, the EDF Group reaffirms its commitment to the energy transition, becoming a leader in decarbonization solutions and a benchmark in terms of energy efficiency.

EDF Renewables is proud to contribute to the achievement of the Group’s goals. Operating in Brazil since 2015, the company has more than 1.8 GW in viable wind and solar energy projects in the country. There are three parks in operation and one under construction, adding up to more than 1.3 m t of CO₂ avoided annually and almost R$ 10 billion invested in Brazil. In addition, we have about 65% of the operational capacity allocated to the free contracting environment.
