ConscientizAÇÃO awakens to the causes and effects of climate change

EDF Renewables sponsored and participated in ConscientizAÇÃO, an event promoted by Mural do Clima Brasil and Mawon with the aim of raising awareness about the causes and effects of climate change and proposing concrete solutions in search of climate justice.

Completely free, the meeting was aimed mainly at recyclable material collectors, climate refugees, black women and young students, and featured lectures, a gastronomic fair, a cultural exhibition and, for the first time in Brazil, a Giga Workshop of the Climate Mural with 1,000 participants. All the actions developed during the event will be presented within the scope of the G20 Social Summit, held on November 14, in Rio de Janeiro.

EDF Renewables has an organizational culture focused on climate awareness. Since 2022, the company has offered Climate Wall workshops for its employees, being a pioneer in this initiative in the country. In addition, the company also promotes the 2 thousand ton workshop. With these actions, EDF Renewables reinforces its commitment to raising awareness on the topic and encouraging everyone to become agents of transformation.
