Professional training is our energy

At EDF power solutions, development is synonymous with investing in the future of our employees and our business. Therefore, throughout the year, we promote a series of training programs focused on professional development.

The Collaborative Negotiation Training is one of the initiatives promoted by EDF power solutions in support of employees’ professional development. During the training, empathy and communication were two of the topics addressed to foster the development of our employees’ argumentative skills in everyday meetings and negotiations.

When it comes to leadership ownership and development, the company relies on the Líder em Ação program, which seeks to train and develop our leaders on multiple fronts. The first meeting of the program, already under the EDF power solutions configuration, addressed the theme “Creating a Climate for Change” and helped support leadership alignment amid the integration process experienced by the company. The new phase of Líder em Ação will focus on driving organizational change during this integration period.

Committed to dialogue and to a culture of ethics, the EDF Group promotes an interactive compliance training for its subsidiaries. Through the Serious Game, our employees were able to put into practice their knowledge of the Code of Ethics, among other compliance-related topics. In addition, our leaders and other employees also took part in sessions conducted by specialized consulting firms to foster a feedback culture and how to encourage it in a healthy way.

The training programs carried out address essential topics for the development of employees and leaders, promoting skills enhancement, team integration, technical and strategic leadership, goal and time management, as well as assertive communication. “These initiatives reflect the company’s commitment to the professional and personal growth of its employees, contributing to organizational effectiveness and positive results. The training programs aim to strengthen the organizational culture, promote innovation, and adapt to market changes, ensuring a productive and collaborative work environment,” shares Mariana Machado, HR Specialist at the company.
